Skin Cancer Checks and Treatment

Australia has the highest rate of skin cancer in the world. Every year, nearly 1,300 Australians die of it. The main cause of skin cancer is ultraviolet radiation (UVR) from the sun. People who work outdoors are particularly at risk.

The NSW Occupational Health and Safety Act 2000 states that employers have a duty of care to ensure the health, safety and welfare of employees and to provide a safe working environment.

ACH can help your business meet legislative requirements by providing onsite skin checks by a qualified ACH doctors to help identify any areas of concern, that should be further investigated, as well as encourage participants to be “sun smart” to prevent skin cancer development.

We can also offer access to qualified Skin surgeons to treat existing skin cancers thereby providing a full service and continuity of care.
